So often people ask me about Prescott weather.  I think they find it hard to believe that there are few places in the US with weather as lovely as ours, a place where one can enjoy four seasons, but none too intensely.  To answer the question more precisely, I've included the following chart, courtesy of the Western Region Climate Center.

We just don't get those nasty little weather problems like hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, blizzards, ice storms, and floods that plague the rest of the US.  Plus we have about 300 days of sunshine a year.  The only things that cause us concern are fire and drought and Prescott has been beset by only one large close fire in as long as I can remember.  As a place to live, you just can't beat it!
